The beeswax finish smells subtly sweet and feels buttery smooth, which put my mind at ease the moment I handed it over. My little one grabbed it instantly and the soft rattle sound kept her entertained during tummy time, so this is already earning its keep.

The beeswax finish gives it a soft, warm feel that's completely different from plastic toys, and the rattle sound is gentle rather than harsh. Our six-month-old has been shaking it nonstop since it arrived, and I love that it's safe to chew on during teething.

My little one grabbed this rattle and wouldn't let go—the natural wood is so smooth and the seed oil finish smells clean, not chemical. The noise it makes is just right, not too loud, and it's clearly built to survive plenty of drops.
